Enjoys official recognition as an artist by the authorities of his country.

 

A student of the great painter Abdelaziz RAMDHANE, he studied art to painting workshops, and then at the Ecole Nationale des Beaux-Arts from 1985 to 1990.

 

He has participated in numerous national and international exhibitions.

He arrived in Paris in 1994, he enrolled at the University of Paris - Sorbonne and one obtains a license and a Master of Arts Plastiques, then a DEA of Aesthetics and Art Sciences.

He is currently a Doctor in Philosophy of Art under the title "The aesthetics of verticality in Arabic script."

 

Her paintings reflect her imagination and originality, through the clay as a material and the sign as a means.

The mythology, archeology and prehistoric influence his work.

 

The forms and signs that serious in clay on the canvas, they are like shards that invite us to walk the paths of ancient history.

 

Thus layer on layer, palimpsest on palimpsest, the artist tells the history of civilizations. Sumerian, Egyptian, Phoenician and Arab, and chooses "Human 1 and 2"  - "Earth 1 and 2" - "Memory letters for titles of some of his works.

 

Here substance, form and graphics are inextricably linked.
